Psyched to premiere the latest gem from Ontario's Caylie Runciman, aka Boyhood. We adored her previous single "Drivin'" and its charming accompanying visuals, and this crunchy and decidedly more raucous new one is another empowering, subtly anthemic indie-pop twanger from her forthcoming new record Bad Mantras. Caylie tells us about working with her sister-in-law Monika Kraska on the stunning video for the smoldering "He Don't", which perfectly complements the song's cathartic, goosebump-inducing climax:

"Monika is a Montreal-based photographer, and her work is beautiful. Her vision for the video was slow moving or still shots of me, in gorgeous scenery, with a very melancholic atmosphere, and my progression to submerging in a lake. I did pop up again at the end though because we agreed that "I SURVIVED!" was something important to convey."

Bad Mantras is out soon. Catch Boyhood live at one of her upcoming Canadian dates with Timber Timbre:
