Growing up in the Pacific Northwest (dubbed PNW by us mossy weirdos) imbues one with a special kind of darkness; a grey that smells like rotting leaves and salty air. The music being made when I was a teen was so particular to that feeling. When I really start missing the Snoqualmie Valley, I throw on PNW, a record by Seahouse -- a band with a few members that went on to be in a pretty dang successful band (if you can guess which band, I owe you a high-five and a flannel shirt). It’s not easy to find this stuff online! This has under 100 views, so time to blow this shit up, y’all. “I pledge allegiance to the state of Washington...” -- Madeline Kenney
