Here's the first track to be unveiled from probably our most anticipated record left to be released in 2012, Andy Stott's forthcoming Luxury Problems, out next month on Modern Love. The record has been described as falling "somewhere between Theo Parrish and Sade, but more fucked," and gorgeous/ghostly album-opener "Numb" hints at a devastatingly beautiful (and relatively accessible) evolution of the imposing, future-primitive grind of his incredible Passed Me By / We Stay Together EPs from last year, thanks in part to the haunting vocals from Stott's childhood piano teacher Alison Skidmore.
