Montreal's Helena Deland will grace us with two beautiful new volumes from her series of songs Altogether Unaccompanied this fall on our label Luminelle Recordings, and we're very psyched to share the release's magical lead single here today. "Claudion" is an elegant, softly shimmering synth-pop dream that Helena says is "generally about being relieved of anxious thought patterns by someone’s unfaltering camaraderie and support, and specifically about this codependency being exemplified by a very intense night out with my oldest friend that would have left me completely helpless if it hadn’t been for their presence and availability." The song was premiered this morning by the FADER, who said that it "dazzles like a handful of glitter in the air", and we couldn't agree more. Helena Deland's From The Series of Songs "Altogether Unaccompanied" Vol. III & IV is out October 19th on Luminelle. Pre-order on vinyl or cassette here.

Helena will embark on a European tour this fall, including a stop at Pitchfork Avant-Garde in Paris on Halloween.
