vivian girls live on wfmu
Vivian Girls stopped by the WMFU studios recently for a live session, during which they mixed in a few new reverb-laden girl group jams among tracks from their self-titled debut. Still can't get enough of those harmonies. Here are a couple songs from the session; the station's Beware of the Blog has all nine tracks for download here.

I'm sort of feeling this new Q-Tip song. And while it's not exactly A Tribe Called Quest, at least it's not "Vivrant Thing" either. Hopefully this bodes well for Tip's upcoming LP, The Renaissance (due out in November).
