Good Friday is not so good when you have to work. As I was purchasing breakfast in my office building this morning, I listened to some woman go off on an emotionally heated rant about how insulting it is that “they” get a day off for Martin Luther King, Jr., but “we” don’t get one for Jesus. She appeared genuinely angered by this. “Well, on the brightside,” I told her, “at least there was no traffic this morning.” She was not amused.
