Our man Sobes introduced us to the greatness of Detroit rapper/producer/nomad (and Danny Brown collaborator) Quelle Chris when the two were on the road together on the recent, epic Black Milk tour, and we've been psyched on this new record ever since: the immensely enjoyable Ghost at the Finish Line features an all-star host of guests including Black Milk, OH NO, Guilty Simpson, Alchemist + many more, but it's Quelle's engaging, playful, at times intensely introspective rapping and his own pitch-perfect production that shine brightest here.
