We’re extremely psyched to share the premiere of the beautiful new single from Austin’s Stefanie Franciotti, aka Sleep ∞ Over. A-side “Rooftop” opens with an ominous plinking and drifts off into an enchanting, otherworldly lullaby fit for the darkest and most surreal Disney (or Lynch) dreamscapes, while the b-side is a devastating cover of Vashti Bunyan‘s 1965 heartbreaker “I Want to Be Alone.” Sleep ∞ Over’s Rooftop 7″ is out digitally tomorrow on Hippos in Tanks, and if you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Australia or New Zealand over the next week or so, go see her play these songs live.
