Montreal’s Young Galaxy return with the shimmering, sweetly majestic opening track from their Dan Lissvik-produced new LP Ultramarine, out April 23 on Paper Bag: “Pretty Boy” is a moving, New Order-esque dance-pop anthem that bodes very well for the new record, which, unlike the band’s previous long-distance Lissvik collab Shapeshifting, was recorded with the Swedish producer at his studio in Gothenburg. Look for the Pretty Boy single — featuring a remix from Peaking Lights — to drop digitally on February 5.
