Essentially, Death Grips posted cryptic clues on 4chans music board, /mu/ as well as tweeting clues in order to hype up No Love Deep Web, as /mu/ were among the first people to pick up Death Grips and made up a very large percentage of their initial fanbase

Basically Death Grips left a scavenger hunt for internet nerds with a series of password protected posts with clues to each password. Each file opened contained a new password hint with a creepy picture. The last file contained their The Money Store’s Instrumentals. It was a very well done puzzle, i doubt i could have put anything together.
