Yeah, definitely missed the point. They are expressing their defiance of a system that has really screwed them over (Burning the money, ‘I Seen the image of hitler in the picture when the twin towers dropped’ meaning America’s war machine has started its imperial wheels again to gain resources, Obama clip refers to the ‘Hope’ and relief that has not come yet, Progress and congress refers to the Western worlds obsession with ‘progress’ etc.) the American Dream not coming and thus being trapped in wanting to achieve it anyway. I believe he is describing his struggles with a system that has him trapped. Danny Brown does this refering to the fact he has no healthcare and that it has impacted his life in such a way that the only way he could afford clothes was to sell weed. I believe he is saying if the gangs unify he means that hopeless people turn to drastic measures to support themselves in a system that does not support them, therefore he is not advocating for death, he wants to stand up for equality and freedom than being trapped.
