Honeycomb has that Deakin sound to it. Very Watercurses/Strawberry Jam going on. Gotham sounds like something that would have went on Avey’s solo album. I had a dream Panda Bear said the guys were all sort of recording without him and he was pissed and said he needed to move out of the burbs. Get in there Panda. We know you’ve got more than drum smashing in you buddy.

I know it’s kind of their thing, but this just sounds like 2 songs playing on top of each other to me. In fact, i checked my itunes to make sure it wasnt also playing when i first turned up the volume. I can dig the second one though.

They played “Honeycomb” live last year, it was sweet. The studio recording is awesome. I hope their album drops over the summer. So far it sounds like July.
