Just copped one of these, easily the best or worst purchase I’ll make today: a self-contained aluminum “prism” of music — “a collection of lost memories” — from Nico Jaar‘s own Clown & Sunset label, featuring a few unreleased Jaar tracks (including one with his Darkside collaborator Dave Harrington). Nicolas Jaar is one of my favorite artists, still not going to buy this box. Would like to have vinyl release of this one also.
As totally cool as this is, and good for him for creating an awesome physical product, don’t act like it’s not just a modified buddha machine.
Had my dog for just about a year. He’s always around when I’m listening to music. This song is the first time I’ve seen him actually respond to it. His little ears pricked up and instantly started staring at the speakers. Amusing.
