There have been few people who have been as formative to my understanding of what live music should feel like as Tim Lafontaine, aka Cop Car Bonfire aka the coolest live show in Montreal. It’s really hard to translate this music into recordings, but Tim busks noise music for a living and i really don’t think it gets much better than that. — Grimes
