New tropical pop jam from London’s Charli XCX, recorded during a recent Red Bull session with designer Fred Butler:
She’s 99.9 percent an M.I.A. wannabe upon first impression. Not a good look. And did you hear her go “Aarh!” C’mon, son.
This is great, I love her. Thankfully I suppose someone finally told her witch house died in 2010.
Hey…thanks for posting this MP3!
Hey man, trying to post this on my blog, but I can’t seem to find the embedded code [iframe]. Can you please help me out? It’d be much appreciated!
OFF THE BAT ID SAY HER VOICE IS A LOT BETTER THAN MIA’S. WHAT MAKES THIS SONG ANYTHING LIKE AN MIA SONG. THERE ARE LYRICS AS OPPOSED TO ONE PHRASE REPEATED 500 TIMES. SHE SINGS WHERE AS MIA TALKS SPURTS OUT PHRASES. YOU MAY THINK THE BEATS SOUND SIMILAR, BUT TO AN EDUCATED FAN OF MUSIC, YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO TELL THAT CHARLIE IS USING A CALYPSO/BALEARIC STYLE BEAT WHERE AS MIA TYPICALLY USES BEATS ASSOCIATED TO NORTHERN AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST. BUT YEAH….>TOTALLY RIPPING OF MIA.
Nice all caps, tard. But, yeah…the MIA comparison is really dumb.
OFF THE BAT I’D SAY “yikes, your comment is hard to read.”
nothing new AT ALL.. not feeling this.
