My ears hurt so bad.

Some songs just should not be touched. Either you do a cover that’s better than the original, or you don’t do anything at all. Video Games is too perfect as a standalone. And if it’s going to be endlessly remixed without bringing a smile to your face, it’s a waste of everyone’s time.

I just hope a full length album is closer than we think, is not rushed, and is delivers as much as Video Games does. Because if she doesn’t ride this wave to greatness, it will be a huge missed opportunity.

Why don’t people stop wasting time fucking with stuff that’s already complete and work on completing their own original stuff? I hope this whole ‘indie remix’ trend is just the flash in the pan it deserves to be. Either collaborate or respect another’s work from a distance. Too much clutter on the blogs lately, and remixes are responsible.

    You don’t need to be from the UK and know who Joy Orbison is to judge whether this song is good or not. In fact, if you’re making your decision about whether this song is good or not based on your knowledge of Joy Orbison & “under the radar” UK shit, then you’re not listening to music, you’re just listening to cool names.
