It’s a toss up. M83′s “Midnight city” was already voted for, but I will say it was with in the top 5 of my list as well. Along with Penguin poison’s “Golden Train”, The Paper Kites “Featherstone”, Daft Punk’s “Derezzed (The Glitch Mob Remix)” off of their Reconfigured album, and “Sail” by AWOLNATION. But if I had to choose just one I’d probably say Freestylers – “Cracks” ft. Belle Humbl. I Really don’t know though… there’s just to much music to choose from.

Deerhoof – Secret Mobilization
^ This track has haunted me ever since the release of ‘Deerhoof vs. Evil’ and their concert at Pop Revo earlier this year. I’m completely and utterly hooked. But there were a lot of contestants as well, that i think should be mentioned:
The Weeknd – House of Balloons/Glass Table Girls (- a definite #2! Can’t get this tune out of my head)
Austra – Beat and the Pulse (the perfect clubbing track)
Gem Club – Twins (the subtlety and melancholy of this track is astonishing. I feel like i’m trapped in a tiny bubble underwater, with the haunting melody of the violin as my only company)
Gils – Honey Bunny (Girls did it again. And wow, it’s a tough job to do a second record after ‘Album’ – which must be pure indie perfection)
Kurt Vile – Jesus Fever (a stunner. Nothing more, nothing less)
PJ Harvey – The Words that Maketh Murder (Roskilde was breathtaking, and especially PJ performing this track)
Radiohead – LittleByLittle (the core of TKOF. This tune is perfect)
Taragana Pyjarama – Ocean (a tiny danish pearl, emerging and developing. I think we can expect a lot from this young boy)
