We loved the dreamy ’80s-leaning first single from Portland’s Blouse, but this woozy, fleetingly wistful new jam is kind of next-level for the band, and has us extremely psyched for their forthcoming debut LP, due November 1 via the great Captured Tracks. Way too short, so put it on repeat for a while:

I fail to see what is so next-level about this. That’s just silly. In fact, it’s a step down from the quality of their previous EPs.
Was *just* listening to this. You’re right – great stuff.
damn yo. luv it. instantly.
AGREED!
It’s so “next level” it’s TIME MACHINE!
Shitzky, it’s like this track was a b-side of a BLONDIE wannabe (in a good way) from 1986, and its just seen the light of day.
Hallelujah!

Best song I have heard from them yet. The chug-along Joy Division bass is what makes it.
