He did a “soft rock” version of Feel It All Around when I saw him on tour last month. It took all the punch and thrill out of the song. I understand when artists don’t want to play their hit song the same way over and over, but this guy only just released a full proper album and it would’ve been nice to see him knock it out the park once before de-fanging it.

I find it thoroughly interesting that Toro y Moi and Washed Out, the creme de la creme “chillwavists,” are moving towards a more Smooth-70s style.
