I believe this song/video was already made in 2k8. Called “Black Mags” by The Cool Kids

well, both songs feature tuff lyrics with lowkey production, and both videos feature bicycles. i dunno if that’s similar enough :\ you’re on some hater shit though so i can’t be too serious witcha
this is the direction of hip hop these days, you can trace is back to cool kids breaking it out if you want. i think neptunes had a lot to do with it though (AS WELL), which would be the direct connect to famlay. this type of bare-bones type shit definitely took center stage with that cali swag song, and tyler fucking dominating the internet.
get used to it, hater, you’ll be hearing and seeing “cool kids – black mags” for a while.

Dude, I’m not a hater, I fuckin’ love The Cool Kids. I just can’t believe someone would blatantly rip off black mags this much…
dude Cool Kids’ sound exists because of FamLay listen to Beeper Record and all his older records, the neptunes have been doing the minimal sound forever!

fam-lay is great, you seriously have to be a lame to think this is lame, fam-lay is the most versatile rapper out. rock n roll, skrung owt, fresh n drivin, beeper record, he’s countless bangers. only a fucking to rap music and most uber pretentious hipster wouldn’t know what the fuck is up.

He is a bad rapper. More than half of the rhymes are just ending with the same exact words–anything but versatile. He starts slacking on enunciating his verses around the time that they are at the pool, as if he has realized that he’d rather just mumble them instead of having people notice how much they don’t actually work. The complaints about it being too much like Black Magz are totally legit. It’s another song with a chorus about bicycles that is almost chopped and screwed identically.
You will be seeing this played in malls across the nation.

I guess I’m the only one uncomfortable with the video. Maybe I don’t listen to enough rap.

Whiskey and Daggers made a track over a year ago… and you can watch their video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn6Z8j-dV80. By the way, Fam-Lay’s hometown of Norfolk is less than 2 hours away from where Whiskey and Daggers calls home. Coincidence? Got to chew your food up after you bite it.
dude no way. thanks for supporting the clipse/neptunes crew, i love those guys. that famlay track on the clipse cd was awesome
the production of this song is pretty sweet but fam-lay’s lack of lyrical skill still shines. i think i’m really into grammar and shit though so
Yeah, I’m digging this video but not the song :/
I’m digging the video and the song.
