After blowing minds with their massive, blissfully noisy debut single in 2010, Denver’s Gauntlet Hair returns with the first single from their self-titled debut full-length, which drops this fall on Dead Oceans. The label calls the shimmering, ebbing/flowing “Top Bunk” a “cooled-out, coastal slowgrind,” which is definitely accurate in relation to the rest of the duo’s evolved debut collection of cavernous, thunderously loud, danceable avant-pop jams. Gauntlet Hair drops October 18 on Dead Oceans.

THANK YOU I’ve been waiting to hear something from them. Simply AMAZING.
Same here, Andrew. These guys are incredible. Thanks GVB for bringing us the best content.

i love these dudes
this is rad.
this is like Tears for Fears at 14000 feet.
I realize this is going to get me shat on but the vocals in this song feel forced. I don’t get the function of some of them. I like a lot of this song, but the vocals ain’t right half the time.
