The album is actually titled Bon Iver, Bon Iver. That is, Bon Iver twice, separated by a coma.

It’s clearly “Bon Iver, Bon Iver”. I find it funny that every single mayor publication (P4K, Spin, yourself) misread the press release and refer to it as ’self-titled’. I mean, it’s an easy mistake to make, but why hasn’t anyone noticed it?

  i don’t think anyone misread it, I said right there in the post it’s called Bon Iver, Bon Iver. I don’t care if it’s Bon Iver x 20, I’m still going to call it self-titled

    I think the concern is in regards that Bon Iver, Bon Iver is about the concept of the album. It seems to be about cities influencing the music, which isn’t properly addressed if it is being called a s/t album.

Great track from one the year’s best albums. Have just posted about three live Bon Iver mp3s recorded for UK TV in October. Amazing band, the version of ‘Perth’ is especially spectacular.
