The “mysterious” iamamiwhoami sent over their latest elaborately creepy video this afternoon; this thing is just about weird/good/ambitious enough to make us care about their gimmick again.

luv it
I am most definitely going to need my own toilet paper roll bed to jump around on. Imagine if I use Charmin….nirvana.
Frightening! very neat
People need to stop thinking of this as a gimmick or a campaign and start thinking of it as an artist; it stopped being a campaign a long, long time ago.
Yep, this isn’t a gimmick. They have been releasing these videos and music for long enough now to be considered an artist. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us.
I agree with iam fetish and can’t wait until more people can see that as fact. I am really miffed at the caption left by this site saying “this thing is just about weird/good/ambitious enough to make us care about their gimmick again.” I feel bad they stopped caring in the first place, as this has been about the journey, not the end result. This is a briliant musical act, not just for the music and the videos, but the overall presentation and most of all the success they are having just from Youtube views and word of mouth. Just because an artist isn’t backed by some major record label doesn’t make it any less worthy of the praise it deserves. Corporate greed is dead as far as the music industry goes, and iam is proving that you don’t need to whore your image out to show your mettle as a musician. The group posts their videos, releases the single on iTunes, and leaves the selling up to the music, not some image to be plastered all over creation. Bravo to them on a job exceedingly well done, yet again.
FYI, there are 20000 subscribers who do care.:)
You should check out Ake Djassen on Youtube too. Especially their tracks Cry Baby, Turn Up, and Hurt.
