Both are great in their own respects. I fucking love 2009 bands (woods, junior boys, the field, jj, washed out, memory tapes, toro y moi, pictureplane, fuck buttons, japandroids, the pains of being pure at heart, neon indian, etc)
Seems a little unambitious to me and another step down from no. 3. If these are the best songs on the album then we’re in trouble. They said themselves tho that No. 1 is the best, No. 2 is the the second best…”it’s all downhill from here”. Hilarious kids, but I guess we’ll see when the album drops. Hoping these songs will grow on me, but am initially a bit disappointed.
