Here’s the Josef Kraska-directed official video for one of the best songs on one of the best records of 2010, Games‘ That We Can Play EP. We’ve always felt that the Laurel Halo-fronted “Strawberry Skies” would make a perfect sub for “Cruel Summer” in this scene, but this ‘80s chat line / shower montage works well too. not into this “it’s SUPPOSED to look like shit” style. i enjoy the retro stuff and it’s “badness” when it occurs naturally. you can’t be, at least in my eyes, seen as an important figure in a period of time when looked back upon if you’re harping on an even older generation’s style. whatever, more ranting
