Dilla: the most overrated producer of all time; proof that death qualifies talent or skill in your field

i’ll give it to you, he is OK. he makes beats. most have some rhythm and obscure samples and some interesting drum work. but he’s not the god damn picasso of instrumentals. god deaths piss me off.

another thing: michael jackson fucking sucks. am i the only one to admit it? i get it, and i understand his influence. i’ve never had a single one of his tracks on repeat. i know he sings all nice and has great producers and song writers. ugh
