I went from excited to gutted. There’s not a band on the initial list that I like, or (aside from Vladislav Delay) that I want to see. Might be taking my first May off ATP in 4 years !?!

Listen to Guitar Music From the Western Sahara by Group Doueh and Where Were You in 92? by Zomby. Both are great records. I’m really psyched on the diversity of music on the bill: Dub, electronic, African guitar music. Not just a bunch of rock bands and a rapper or two. In fact the closest thing to a rock band on the list is Ariel Pink & HG which I would never really think of as rock music. Too bad I don’t live in UK.
This is nuts. This means new material from AC, probably a panda solo set and then there’s Gang Gang, Black Dice, and Ariel Pink??? I can’t believe I’ll have to miss this. Holy fuck.
