We’ve been intrigued by Sweet Bulbs (“Brooklyn’s blurriest pop band“) since everyone posted their catchy “Springstung” a few weeks back, but it’s new song “Kissing Clouds” that’s really won our hearts. Simple, perfect noisy pop that Dylan from Cloud Nothings says is “reminiscent of the Breeders if their guitars sounded more like lasers.” “Eyes Feathers” = also a legitimate jam. Look for both on the band’s self-titled 12″, out soon on Blackburn Recordings. Thanks to our infectiously enthusiastic friend Skatterbrain for the heads up:

I am loving the two tracks. The vocalist reminds me a bit of Courtney Love for some reason…

I love this, greetings from the dead!
Loving this big time. Reminds me a lot of Black Tambourine, which is only a good thing.
