“Gone to Sea” is the opening track from Hey There Stranger, the new EP from Italy’s A Classic Education (His Clancyness‘ other band). Jamie Harley on the vibrant, recontextualized vintage visuals, like an old National Geographic come to life.

I’m really glad that ripping off Felt/Orange Juice has become a serious 2010 trend
real good! what’s the rest of the ep like? I don’t hear any Orange Juice at all…more Triffids or new zealand pop sort of…
Much better the fan video and the song here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiQqVkpqOfs. Same idea.
what film are the visuals from?
I’m really glad that ripping off bands means being influenced by them– oh wait, it doesn’t. It’s called borrowing. It’s natural in the cycle of music. No music would exist if some of the music wasn’t borrowed from somewhere or influenced heavily by someone else’s music. So calm down, it’s not “ripping off music.”
