Hazy, bittersweet end-of-summer vibes abound on Ducktails‘ laid-back, Seinfeld-referencing new jam “Art Vandelay,” a tune which has become a Real Estate live favorite over the last few months. This one will appear on the b-side of Ducktails’ new Olde English Spelling Bee 7″ single (pictured), with a reworked version appearing on his upcoming Woodsist LP, Ducktails III : Arcade Dynamics.

It’s a good song, I just wish they brought the vocals “up front” more and not so far “behind” the music/instruments.

I kinda prefer instrumental Ducktails.. the sloppy indie-folk stuff is nice but so many other bands do this kind of thing..
