Beach House‘s Teen Dream LP is out next week on Sub Pop. The record comes with a companion DVD featuring a video for each song, each by a different director. As mentioned previously, we’re premiering a different video from the Teen Dream DVD in this space every day this week, each for one day only, thanks to Beach House + Sub Pop. This stunning animated clip for “Used to Be” was created by Sean Pecknold (brother of Robin), who has also animated/directed magical videos for Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes, and others.
Monday: “Lover of Mine”
Tuesday: “Walk in the Park”
Wednesday: “10 Mile Stereo”
Thursday: “Used to Be”
Friday: “Silver Soul“
Teen Dream is out January 26 on Sub Pop. Pre-order the CD/2xLP here. Check back every day this week for another video, with Friday’s clip (“Silver Soul“) made available as a free download.

Beautiful. I literally cannot wait for victoria's video tomorrow!! Midnight posting GvB??!?
the video is stunning, but what about the original 2008 single? where is my beloved middle eight?
too creepy for me, i still like the one w the backyard wrestlers…
this one's good but i like the '08 version better.
i saw beach house perform at spaceland in los angeles and god it was beautiful. but you must believe that is a hard crowd to get moving. even swaying the shoulders is difficult for those cats. i went up to the girl after the show and told her music help put me to sleep sometimes (i know, wonder how many times she's heard that…) she said i was a sweety pie and patted me on my cheek.
i don't really make music like beach house at all, more like the kinks, but check it out if you like http://www.myspace.com/thelafont
sean pecknold has some real skills. i read an interview with him in Hook and Line magazine back in the spring…you can read it online here http://www.hookandlinemag.com/p/read.html
