Slumberland just released a new limited 7" from San Francisco's the Mantles, featuring two exclusive new songs not available on the band's awesome self-titled LP (out now on Siltbreeze). Here's the a-side, which the label says "has the lazy drive of a 'tougher' Bats -- hungover with a shot voice and a negative attitude." But like the group's other undeniable single, it somehow manages to feel almost anthemic in its hazy simplicity. The Bad Design 7" is limited to 300 copies on "all swirly color vinyl." Get it here.
