Yo chris this is no way is related to the Major Lazer mix, i'm sure it's good, whatever, but I really suggest that you check out DM Stith and his album Heavy Ghost. It sounds like one part Sufjan Stevens, one part Department of eagles, and one part angel chorus. And it's not like I know this dude and i'm trying to get him exposure, he's just really fucking good. Relatively legit too, like 167,000 plays on Last.fm
if you've got time i really suggest it. And he has a great eerie sounding cover of "be my baby" by the ronnettes that i'm sure you'd enjoy. Classic shit.
