I love Grouper‘s Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill LP quite a little bit, and her new song “False Horizon” — which appears on an upcoming split 7″ with her friend City Center — was apparently recorded at the same time as Dragging, which would explain why it’s so perfect. City Center has this to say about Grouper’s latest:
“Liz’s song is exclusive to this release, and (was) recorded around the same time as her last amazing full-length Dragging A Dead Deer Up a hill. It’s fucking mindblowing.”
