I saw this show in Portland, OR last week and it was hands down the worst hip hop show I’ve ever seen. GZA was wasted, forgetting lyrics and generally didn’t move an inch. His crew had some energy but, damn, so bummed to have paid for that nonsense.

really? it was pretty great here, i thought. GZA and killah priest seemed way into it. sure he flubbed a few lyrics, but it was one of the more enthusiastic crowds Dallas has seen at a hip-hop show in a while

Yeah it was bad. The whole show was running perfectly on time. GZA was supposed to go on stage at 11:30 and the DJ between the opening act and The GZA ended up just quitting and walking off stage at around 12:15 when he started to get booed by a rightly impatient crowd. We left before the show was over. Now, seeing (most of) The Wu-Tang Clan on new years eve in Portland, that was killer.

yeah, the seattle show was really bad too. granted, the crowd of sober 15 year old white kids (all ages show) did’nt help matters, GZA let me down. i feel horrible saying that out loud, but its true.

I just saw the show in austin, and i have to say it was pretty awesome. All the songs from liquid swords were ill and killah preist was on.
