my morning jacket x erykah badu :: live in dallas
It's no secret that Dallas native Erykah Badu is a fixture at just about every respectable hip-hop show that rolls through town. I've seen her join in on performances by Outkast, Digable Planets, Common, the Roots, and others over the last 10 years or so. But if I would've known that Ms. Badu was going to show up at the Palladium last night to help out on My Morning Jacket's cover of her live fave "Tyrone," I totally would've actually gone.
