today: gorilla vs. booze

Hope to see you all you SXSW-ers at the Peacock (515 Pedernales) this afternoon for gorilla vs. booze 2008, featuring performances by El Guincho, White Denim, White Williams, Ghosthustler, Cut Copy (DJ set), Bodies of Water, Holy Fuck, and of course, the Cool Kids. In that order.

There will be (free) beer, the the Party DJs will be spinning between sets, and we'll have a ton of free stuff to give away (t-shirts, cds, vinyl, etc.) for the early-comers, courtesy of Beggars and Cornerstone. And again, no RSVP or badge/wristband necessary, but the joint is tiny, so show up early. Here's the schedule:
